So why are we doing this?
For those of you out there who don't know me. I am visually impaired and that sucks. I can't drive or run errands, making normal every day activities very difficult. However, I haven't let me disability get me down. I want to help others in my community as much as I can. I have learned over the years how to grow food. I started with a small seasonal garden, which has produced enough veggies for my friends and family.
Now that I'm confidant that I can grow, I want to provide healthy fresh produce to my community. I have thought about just donating extra money when I have it to the Food Bank, but that wasn't good enough, because I know they would end up buying food that would be at a lower quality then I can provide.
